Not What I Intended
Last night I decided to stay up late and my intention was to draw a cute character with a dark goth look to her. I got as far as making a neat looking eye and then the intention completely fell apart. The first thing I ended up with was this:
Not quite what I was going for. And as I looked at it I had a great idea! Which led to this:
I tried to get myself back on what my original intention was and I started over. I ended up with a woman who looked really quite mean and older than what I wanted. I am not sure what to do with her. I changed her face and lost track again and I ended up with this:
She isn’t quite what I was going for either. She is mysterious looking, though. So, that is how my art goes. I rarely end up with what I intend on making. If I do, it usually takes several tries and a whole bunch of other designs get created. So I wonder, if I intend on pretty and end up with cute, and intend on cute/dark/goth and end up with whatever this group can be classified as……what makes cute/dark/goth? Seems to be a little bit backwards. ha ha ha.
